Gracie was painted from a wonderful photo, after she passed away.
Fortunately, her owners took many photos of her (as most owners do), and I was able to find one that captured her perfectly!
I decided to offer prints of this painting even though it shows Gracie, not just a generic Springer Spaniel. Her wavy hair may not be like others. Her facial freckles (spots on her face) may not be what any other dog has, in those sizes and locations. However, unless you want a specific painting of a portrait of your dog, and pay the commission, maybe Gracie will remind you of your dog.
Besides, It's a nice painting of a memorable Springer Spaniel.
